We managed to navigate through the hoards of urbanites to get a glimpse of the 100+ vendors. As you can imagine, it is physically impossible to taste it all in one visit but we successfully sampled the most intriguing bites.
For us, there were three standout vendors. And we haven’t stopped thinking about them ever since we hopped on the L train back home to Manhattan.
Ramen Burger: It was love at first bite. A juicy ground beef patty sandwiched between two buns made from freshly cut ramen noodles. The absurdly long line is worth it.
Dun-Well Doughnuts: Peanut Butter & Jelly, Carrot Cake and Banana Walnut—how do you choose just one? Well, once we discovered that everything made at Dun-Well’s is vegan-friendly, we immediately agreed to all three.
Takumi Taco: From the wasabi cream topping to the thin and crispy chips, these nachos have layers on layers upon flavor. Plus, the portion is large so you can opt for sharing.
Still, haven’t checked it out? You have every Saturday and Sunday through November 23rd until the artisanal food market closes up shop for the season. Bring cash and pants with an elastic waistband.
